After a year of recess to physical events due to the Covid-19, Broadband World Forum, one of the broadband industry’s biggest events, was held both virtually and physically in the Amsterdam RAI on the 13th and 14th of October.
The event brought together many operators, vendors, technology providers, and startups from all over the world with a broad range of topics, such as Smart Home, Fiber, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Network Infrastructure and Intelligence.
Lifemote, a leading provider of cloud based AI-driven WiFi Analytics, attended the event as the winners of the 2019 Startup Showcase Competition. Setting up our first booth as a growing company was a special moment in our history.
Exponential Growth in Telecoms – A pitch from Lifemote
The event hosted a number of panels, such as the Startup Showcase judged by industry leaders and VCs such Florian Bogenschutz from Wayra Germany, Marie Jose Van Den Boomgaard from KPN and Dr. Nicolai Schattgen from Match-Maker Ventures, each giving their take on the start-up ecosystem in the broadband industry.
Our Co-Founder and CEO, Dr. Eren Soyak presented Lifemote and its exponential growth in the Telecom industry with its cloud based AI-driven WiFi Analytics and Proactive Maintenance Platform, discussing why he believed Lifemote has been able to sustain over 300% year-over-year growth since 2018.
Shortlisted in Broadband Awards
The prestigious Broadband Awards that became a tradition in the broadband industry, with 14 distinct award categories this year, presented a challenging contest.
Lifemote was honoured to be shortlisted for the Cloud-Based Solution of the Year Category.
BBWF was a big rush for Lifemote — we had a lot of meetings with operators from all over the world, caught up with partners and exchanged many ideas and experiences throughout the exhibition. Seeing familiar faces after a long time and meeting new people put big smiles on our faces. It was very encouraging to us hear community feedback regarding the ISP needs being met by our proactive AI solution.
We are on the right track to allow Internet Service Providers of all sizes to tackle the problems of their internet delivery: Fixing home WiFi proactively with AI. The Broadband World Forum and the Awards Ceremony gave us a long missed opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues in a social setting. A big thank you to the Informa Team for the delightful organisation! And of course a shout out to our dear friends at Eye Networks AS, Match-Maker Ventures and Zyxel.See you all next year!
