Broadband World Forum, one of the biggest events in the telecommunications industry, was held virtually this year between the 13th and 15th of October. As Lifemote, we attended the event and welcomed attendees to our virtual booth.

This year’s event motto was connecting a better world, intersecting technology, application and aspiration for a broadband-enabled future. With that end, BBWF 2020 was packed with 3 days of intense industry insights varying from topics like Smart Home, Fiber, 5G, Network Infrastructure and Intelligence just to name a few.

The event gathered key people from the broadband industry with their remarks on the future of broadband technologies and there were many vendors, operators, technology providers and startups attending the event. As Lifemote, we hosted our virtual booth this year and presented our solution, the Wi-Fi Analytics and Proactive Network Maintenance Platform. Also, being last year’s Startup Showcase Winner, we had the opportunity to host Lifemote to the audience with a presentation made by our CEO, Dr. Eren Soyak.

Lifemote since BBWF 2019 and Collaboration Panel

This year’s Startup Showcase track was amazing again. It started with the opening remarks from Nicolai Schaettgen, then continued with Eren Soyak’s presentation on Lifemote after BBWF.

After our presentation, the Startup Showcase continued with the Collaboration Panel – Integrating Start-ups to Become Operation Ready on the moderation of Nicolai and panelists from Lifemote, VEON, Telenor, Wayra Germany and MTS giving their take on the matter. The panel was a great discussion on the challenges faced and changes needed to be made in the telecoms industry.

3 days of amazing content from the industry’s biggest names, excellent networking possibilities and great feedback received for Lifemote in the virtual booth. Thanks to all who made such a great event possible and hope to see you next year!
